Tal Tochner
Tal is the Investment Director at PICO Venture Partners, an early stage fund operating in Israel and the US. At PICO, Tal leads investments across all software-enabled sectors, serves on several boards and supports portfolio companies on growth trajectory. Tal has been active in the startup ecosystem helping venture-backed companies scale globally and identify strategic opportunities for almost a decade. Prior to her role at PICO Venture Partners, Tal was one of the youngest Investment Partners at Tel Aviv Capital where she led the technology department and focused on direct, M&A and Secondary deals as well as corporate innovation for some of the world’s leading enterprises. She was also part of the Founding Team at WMN and held business development and operating roles at the Israel-Asia Center. Due to her strong passion for education and impacting the next generation of leaders, Tal pursued social-entrepreneurship initiatives. She co-founded two education and leadership platforms: The Women’s Parliament focused on advancing female leadership and KEN-S, a global education platform for interdisciplinary learning. Tal sits on the advisory board of AJC Access and Outbox and serves as a mentor to some is Israel’s leading entrepreneurship programs and accelerators. Tal has a B.A in International Relations and Asian Studies from Hebrew University in Jerusalem and was featured in Forbes 30under30 in 2017.
