Laila Durrani
Laila Durrani is a recent graduate from Smith College, USA, where she studied Math and Government, and a Fulbright Scholar. She is passionate about educational access, specially for women, and has worked in various NGO’s in the USA and abroad. Laila is deeply interested in the future of the global food system. She has been cooking since she was eleven and has apprenticed with Chef Roberto Rossi at Il Silence, his Michelin-starred restaurant in Tuscany, Italy, to understand food sustainability in context of climate change. In the future she hopes to work the intersection of policy and social change to address the big problems of our time.
