Patricia Cohen
I have worked as a reporter and an editor at The New York Times for more than 25 years, and spent the last nine covering the economy. But I have covered many other subjects, including politics, the courts, theater, the arts, families, fraud, education, military spending and the world of ideas. Before The Times, I worked at The Washington Post and Rolling Stone. I started my career at Newsday, where I covered City Hall and the federal courts. I was also political editor, editor of the Sunday opinion section, and an editorial writer. I’ve written a book, “In Our Prime: The Fascinating History and Promising Future of Middle Age.”
