Allison Stanger
Allison Stanger is Leng Professor of International Politics and Economics at Middlebury College; Co-Director, GETTING-Plurality Research Network, Harvard University; Senior Fellow, Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation, Harvard Kennedy School; founding member of the Digital Humanism Initiative (Vienna); and an External Professor and Science Board member at the Santa Fe Institute. Stanger’s next book, Who Elected Big Tech? is under contract with Yale University Press. She has been called to testify before Congress on five occasions (by both Republicans and Democrats) and has recently briefed the White House, the House AI Caucus, the Energy and Commerce Democrats, and the FTC on both Section 230 reform and issues of AI governance.
