Smriti Keshari
Smriti Keshari is an award-winning filmmaker, artist, and director. Her work explores under-represented perspectives and experiences outside the mainstream, which seek to inspire social change. She has a roster of highly notable projects. Keshari created the bomb alongside Eric Schlosser. the bomb is an immersive film and music experience that brings attention to the grave threat that nuclear weapons pose today. Keshari was a producer of Food Chains, a documentary that premiered at the Berlin Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Festival in 2014. Narrated by Forest Whitaker and featuring commentary by Eva Longoria and Eric Schlosser, it examined the plight of migrant farm workers in the United States. The New York Times praised Food Chains, calling it “rousing…emphatic and empathetic. » Keshari’s work has been supported by The John D. and Catherine T.
