Aharon Mohliver
I am a strategy scholar specialising in quantitative research of business ethics and corporate social responsibility at London Business School, with an emphasis on socio-political strategies. My research seeks to help stakeholders understand what drives bad behaviour in firms, and by firms so that the conditions leading to potential costly organizational misconduct can be avoided. I research a wide variety of settings ranging from stock option backdating and financial restatements, to student plagiarism violence in professional sports and violations of health standards in elderly care-homes. In a related research stream I examine how, in a politically polarized world, social mobilisation to support diversity, environmental sustainability and labour safety can in fact push some firms to pollute, discriminate and abuse labour even more. Before joining Academia, I served as the domestic policy advisor for FMP Benjamin Netanyahu (2005-2007) and the heads of the Economics and Government Oversight Committees in Israel.
