Isabel Behncke
Isabel Behncke (DPhil Oxford, MPhil Cambridge) is an applied primatologist who studies social behavior in animals including humans. For her PhD she followed wild bonobos in Congo researching their play behaviour. Isabel grew up at the foothills of the Andes mountains in Chile. She loves nature and wildness and culture and the arts. She is a Gruter Institute and TED Fellow, and recently Presidential advisor to Chile’s government.
